Original situation

I Love Speelgoed built its warehouse structure based on the experience and knowledge of its internal staff. Brands were grouped together and articles were then allocated in those zones. Rapid growth made that situation unsustainable. Stock shortages and human errors became ever more common and picking took forever. We simply lost track of the volume and value of our stocks

Starting the transformation journey together

Exact recognized the logistic struggles and made the introduction to BizBloqs. I Love Speelgoed has never looked back since. They were looking for a strategic partner and a trusted relationship, to transform their business and get them back in control. The entire process from analyzing workflows and the physical warehouse to the full implementation of Knight WMS took only 2.5 months. Remarkably, the progressive insights gained during the implementation were processed on the fly and the platform allowed rapid changes to the original plans

Unexpected findings

The huge benefits spread across different areas have been the biggest surprise. It used to take 3 months to train new staff, a task they can handle in 2 days now because the solution is so intuitive. They make significantly less errors, shortened a 15 minute picking process to about 2 minutes and didn’t need to increase their workforce despite the large growth in orders.

Current situation

Stock accuracy at I Love Speelgoed has gone up from 60% to over 95%. From the day the solution was implemented, there has not been a single moment of downtime. They don’t see any need for additional expensive external consultants and I Love Speelgoed has aligned its logistic plans and innovations with the roadmap of BizBloqs. Both parties continue to develop and there is an unshakable trust that the direction of both companies will continue to generate exactly the right synergies needed for continued success
