Original situation

A-dam started with a fully manual operation and basically using progressive insight to improve their business processes. This led to a lot of human effort, which unfortunately also makes human errors unavoidable.


More importantly, their situation was rather inefficient across the board. Their methodology for warehousing was inefficient as well.

Despite their beautiful office, they were not structured to run an efficient logistic operation.

Starting the transformation journey together

A-dam is a customer of BizBloqs partner Exact and when they mentioned their logistic struggles, Exact was quick to make the introduction to the BizBloqs team.


Our experts joint forces with the A-dam team and studied all the logistic processes. The physical organization of the warehouse was completely restructured and corrected. Scanners were introduced and the picking process was finetuned.


Most importantly, BizBloqs was able to ensure that the solution A-dam was going to use would scale with their rapid growth, increasing complexity and growing needs for additional features.

Unexpected findings

The manual operations were proven truly inefficient when A-dam changed its picking process from order picking to batch picking. In combination with the optimized physical setup, the difference turned out to be night and day.

Current situation

A-dam can now proudly refer to itself as an extremely efficient fulfilment company for both business to business as business to consumer orders. Together we helped them to achieve this status without any concessions to their design and creation process that makes the company and its products so unique. Furthermore, they are still using the same Knight WMS system they started with, handling all the growth and expansions effortlessly.
