Original situation

XXL Nutrition printed packing slips directly from their web shop environment and experienced a lot of trouble with mistakes and errors. Furthermore, if something was out of stock, someone had to manually update the situation at a computer. That meant a lot of orders were accepted initially, after which the customer had to be contacted to let them know the order would not result in a shipment due to lack of stock. That was simply not the level of service and customer-friendliness that XXL stands for.

Starting the transformation journey together

The founder and owner took a huge personal interest in the project. It was clear that this project would not move forward until he had a full grasp of the solution before his employees worked with it. He has this overwhelming passion for his business and is extremely involved with all its moving parts. Initially it started off with a straight-forward web business, but eventually it became necessary to do an integrated ERP solution as well. wanted to understand the solution perfectly before letting his employees work with it, extremely involved in his business. Unexpected findings

The actual task we set out to achieve was not too complex. Take the Magento e-commerce environment and integrate it with BizBloqs to get the control and insight the organization needed to keep customers informed timely and completely. We were warned that XXL was quite successful and they still caught us off guard when it turned out they process 1,000s of orders per day. Luckily for all involved, our BizBloqs solution remained unphased and delivered on the requirements perfectly.

Current situation

XXL is running BizBloqs seamlessly integrated with Exact Online for its purchase orders. Furthermore, they added Optiply to the equation, which increased the ease of management for their stocks and purchases. It is not remotely as challenging as it used to be to get the right level of inventory ready for upcoming demand. Simply put, everything to do with the logistic management has now become an in-house expertise for XXL.
